Whether to tell or not ?

Is it true that if we announce our goals to everyone we are less likely to succeed?

How many of you believe in it?

Many times when we decide to try to start a new journey in life whether it be starting a business or going for a new career or maybe just following a very old ignored personal passion, we can be hesitant to tell others , or maybe there can be people who tell it to everyone before actually doing it . So what are probable chances of success in either case?

Psychological studies say that we often lose motivation if we announce our goals.

So keep it a secret until you actually make it your reality. Ha…..

Anyways, I don’t actually know whether it’s completely true or not. But I did believe in it even before I read about it.

It’s not with goals but even with petty movie and trip plans…you announce them and the watch them getting cancelled 😅

I totally believe in it. Don’t really know the science behind but i completely believe. So now I try my best to keep things to myself as much as possible and I can’t describe how difficult it is when you have been raised in a culture where everyone including friends, family, relatives all expect to know things, your plans even before you have started thinking about it properly and more when you yourself is an outspoken person. So for me its indeed a constant struggle.
